How to play Spider Solitaire
The goal is to remove all 104 cards by building eight complete sequences, each running from King down to Ace in the same suit. The table starts with 54 cards across ten columns, plus five stock rows of ten cards.
- Select, then move. Tap or click an exposed card. Tap a destination whose bottom card is one rank higher. Any card or valid sequence can move to an empty column.
- Keep movable runs together. A descending group can move together only when every card in it has the same suit. You can place a single card on a different suit.
- Reveal hidden cards. Removing the cards above a face-down card turns it over automatically.
- Deal carefully. Deal row adds one face-up card to every column. Fill all empty columns first.
- Finish a run. A matching King-to-Ace sequence is removed automatically. Remove all eight to win.
1 suit strategy
With a single suit, every descending run is also a same-suit run. Use this mode to learn how turning hidden cards and preserving empty columns change your options.

Useful answers
Does my game save automatically?
Yes, when browser storage is available. Return to the same mode in the same browser to continue. Each difficulty has its own save; today’s daily challenge has a separate save. Clearing site data or using private browsing can remove it. Undo history lasts only for the current page session.
How is the score calculated?
You start with 500 points. Each move or stock deal costs one point, down to a minimum of zero. Completing a full same-suit run adds 100 points. Undo restores the previous score and move count; elapsed time keeps running while the page is visible.
Can I play on a phone?
Yes. Tap cards instead of dragging them. Use Larger cards for a wider board that scrolls sideways, or rotate your phone for more room. Fullscreen appears on browsers that support it.
Does a hint guarantee the best move?
No. Hints identify a legal column move and avoid moving an entire pile to an empty column without changing it. They do not solve the whole game or promise a winning route.
