1 Suit Spider Solitaire

Play 1 suit Spider Solitaire with the original cards and drag-and-drop controls.

Why start with one suit?

Every card is a spade, so any descending face-up sequence can move as a group. You can focus on exposing hidden cards, making working space and completing King-to-Ace sequences without having to untangle mixed suits. There are still 104 cards and eight sequences to clear.

A useful first decision

If one column ends in 9–8 and another ends in 10, drag the 9 and its 8 onto the 10. If that exposes a hidden card, the game turns it over. Before making the move, look for another 10 that might leave you a more useful empty column.

Use empty columns deliberately

An empty column can hold any card or movable sequence. It is temporary working space, not a place reserved only for Kings. Move a sequence there to uncover a hidden card, then look for a way to free that column again.

Before taking more cards

The stock deals one card onto each column. You must fill empty columns first. Try to expose useful cards and combine your existing sequences before taking another row. A deal adds options but may bury the card you were about to use.

When you are comfortable moving sequences and planning around empty columns, try two suits. The rank rules stay the same; matching suits become important.

Playing on a phone

Rotate to landscape for more room. Use Full screen to expand the play area, or Larger cards to enlarge the board and scroll sideways. Select Fit board to see every column together again. Drag the cards themselves; scroll using the surrounding board area.

Saving and your statistics

Your current layout, stock, score and moves save on this browser after the deal or move settles. Each difficulty keeps a separate saved game. Choose the same level to continue. New game replaces that level’s saved game after confirmation. The original restart button also starts over.

Open Your statistics for games started, wins, best winning time and fewest winning moves. Time counts while the game tab is active. This game has no undo button. Progress stays on this device; clearing browser data, private browsing restrictions or blocked storage can remove or prevent saves. No account is required.
