2 Suit Spider Solitaire

Play 2 suit Spider Solitaire with the original cards and drag-and-drop controls.

What changes with two suits?

Hearts and spades share the table. You may place a card onto any card one rank higher, regardless of suit, but a group can move together only when every card in that descending group has the same suit. A completed King-to-Ace sequence must also match suits.

Mixed stacks are temporary

Putting 7♥ onto 8♠ is legal. Those two cards cannot then move together as a matching sequence. You need another place for the 7♥ before moving the 8♠. By contrast, 8♠–7♠–6♠ can move together onto a 9.

Keep a route out

Before adding a different suit to a promising sequence, identify where that added card could go later. An empty column can help separate a mixed stack. Avoid filling every working space with long stacks that you cannot move.

Choose a useful reveal

Sometimes a short move that exposes a hidden card helps more than extending a visible sequence. Compare which move uncovers information and which keeps an empty column available. Before dealing another row, fill all empty columns and check whether a matching-suit rearrangement is still possible.

If mixed stacks feel difficult, practise in one suit. For a greater sorting challenge, move to four suits.

Playing on a phone

Rotate to landscape for more room. Use Full screen to expand the play area, or Larger cards to enlarge the board and scroll sideways. Select Fit board to see every column together again. Drag the cards themselves; scroll using the surrounding board area.

Saving and your statistics

Your current layout, stock, score and moves save on this browser after the deal or move settles. Each difficulty keeps a separate saved game. Choose the same level to continue. New game replaces that level’s saved game after confirmation. The original restart button also starts over.

Open Your statistics for games started, wins, best winning time and fewest winning moves. Time counts while the game tab is active. This game has no undo button. Progress stays on this device; clearing browser data, private browsing restrictions or blocked storage can remove or prevent saves. No account is required.
